CHESHIRES DO NOT EXIST Is your life filled with seemingly random oddities and coincidences?Do obstacles unnecessarily crop up or mysteriously disappear as you strive to obtain your goal?This may be due to Cheshire interference. We, as a race, have a propensity for manipulation and intrigue. Random chance still applies of course but maybe a Cheshire has taken interest in you as well. If so, you have become that Cheshire's Toy. If this is true then you have my sympathies. Your life will become a rollercoaster of aggravating happenstance of chain reactions for that Cheshire's entertainment. That entertainment is your reactions to what transpires. Will you surmount the obstacle placed in front of you to continue on towards your goal or will you fail to notice that the ease in which you obtain what you want is a trap this Cheshire helps you create for yourself? How you deal with success or failure in your life. Will you rise up and make the most of your success or will you sink and drown in your misery at your failures. Are you beset by an Antagonist who is blocking your way to see how you overcome adversity or maybe to watch you give up in despair? Is there a Protagonist who is Meddling in your life to see how far you can and will go or to watch you debauche yourself in the newfound freedoms you have obtained. For a Cheshire the results are as fun as the Game itself.
As an outcast of my own race, I now have the chance to see both sides of the Game. I have never Meddled in anyones life outside of the assignments given to me in the class designed to hone a natural born interest into a useable skill. I am also not very good at it. There are those of us who have what we call a Wide View of things. Most Cheshires can focus on the immediate ripples created in the still waters of ones life. Then there are those who are unable to not see the interactions of multiple ripples from multiple Toys. Unlike actual water, these ripples never stop moving outward and never stop affecting others. Those with a Wide View become Surveyors, ones who map out and plot potential waves from multiple intersections of ripples. Except me because while I can easily see this pattern I become lost in them, unable to navigate through them. For me these are not ripples but an interconnecting series of underground tunnels and caverns in which I travel without the benefit of light to see by.
What I do see is the needless strife caused by my own kind as they play their Games. Without fail I notice who is the victim of unwarranted attention and manipulation. I have come to despise the Game. Who are Cheshires to subject those they think inferior to themselves to the feeling of disaffection created by the hazards of life? Who are they to add to ones burden as they trudge down their road towards oblivion? Walking my own road I have realized it is better to walk forward side by side with others than to rise above them at their expense. It is one thing to step foward and lead and a competely different thing to use others to get ahead.
So when things seem too easy to be true or so hard you just want to rip out your hair and scream, sit back and think. Remain calm and take stock of your options. There may be a reason besides lifes normal entropy for why things are like they are. That reason may be due to outside interference. A deliberate attempt to create chaos for the sake of another's entertainment. Just realize that if this is the case you will never be able to prove it. The best you can do is defend yourself as best you can. Cheshires will never allow themselves to be found and they should not be looked for. On the rare occassions they have been noticed measures have been taken to eliminate the threat. Abraham Lincoln, Elvis Presley, Benito Mussolini, Vincent Van Gogh and of course Lewis Carrol had the misfortune to catch a glimpse of my kind. These poor unfortunates suffered for their knowledge.
