I still don't have an art style and still am barely an artist.

Tracers Beware!

I spent most of my early art life tracing. But never once did I pass off the work as my own (Except for that one time I partially traced and then admitted to it). I would trace low-res images and create high quality vectors. I even did this for businesses, though I ended up not getting that job in the end...
Anyway I have experience and know that tracing isn't bad. But when you sell a comission that's traced, you're just a scumbag. Or if you simply refuse to admit you traced when called out on it, then you're just a liar and are still a bad person. Tracing is just stealing, and worse it's not something you will get better at drawing at from doing. You'll only learn how to be better at tracing. I am a master tracer now, and a terrible artist. Anyone who says they are tracing to learn to do art better is lying. Or being tricked. I actually believed that lie for so long, I am embarassed to say. But now I know better. And you should know better too after reading this!
