About me




The name is Tainley.  Sir Tainley.



I am a Toronto based... occasional commissioner of art.  I'm usually interested in facial expressions, and anatomical thoughtfulness (muscle, fur, bone... it's all complicated!)



All art I post I give credit back to the artist.
Art Info




I try to give the artists I commission a happy and easy experience. I want them to try their hardest on my commissioned piece, and they want me to be a repeat customer. It's a win-win situation!



I always give the artists I commission full artistic freedom. I find that this is more enjoyable for me, as well as for the artist. Though, I'm happy to provide some ideas/feedback.



I try to remember to tip upon receiving art, especially if the art was free.



I don't believe in refunds, even partial ones. It's unfair for the artist if someone requests a refund after the commission is complete, since the many hours of time can't be made up.



There are exceptions to the above rule: DON'T SCAM ME.
My Characters




The Satyr's name is Thamyris. A former employee of Hermes, and the target of an angry Apollo, due to a music competition gone bad.

Main Image



The Nymph's name is Glykeria.  She fosters a glade of wisteria, for Persephone, in Thrace.  Every Spring when her mistress returns from the Underworld, the glade of Glykeria's bursts into a celebration of green and purple.
