From the very first black-and-white draft, it perfectly captured Taka. His sadness, his edginess, his worry. But it also captured his greatness and how important it is for Taka himself to be sitting on his throne. It’s the place that belongs to him. A place of importance, which puts him above all adversity.

She’s just starting out on a new account, but honestly, she’s the artist I’ve connected with the most. Taka has evolved a lot in the space of 8 months, and ’s vision is the next natural step—and one I’m thrilled to take because her vision of Taka is simply PERFECT
