Drawing tips/advice (G)
Hello pretty birds!
I've been getting back into drawing the past 3 weeks. While I haven't properly drawn anything in a long while. 4-5 years if I remember right. Then before that, only really drew in art class in my school days.
I also draw traditional and digitally. Traditional when I'm usually at work on lunch, and digital when I'm home.
Just looking for some tips on getting into it easier. I already know a few things.
Draw from reference
Try and draw everyday for at least 30 minutes or longer.
Watch tips online.
Don't really stick to one thing, try and draw a large variety of stuff.
I do know a couple sources online says to draw what I like. Which would be birds, but I know I need to draw other things. So everything doesn't look like a bird lol.
One big issue I'm having now is low confidence, you could say. I know it takes time to learn this skill, but was looking for tips on how to boost my confidence to where I feel more comfortable to where my skill lies.
I get pretty frustrated sometimes when a line doesn't just curve right, perspective is off, ect ect.
I also wanna thank the people who have already given me some tips! Those tips have helped a lot
