A mom from New Orleans, I came out of the Hurricane Katrina..it has seriously affected my life. I do a variety of art..Faeries, Flowers, character drawing, and now these charcoal Memory sketches from my life in NOLA. My other interests include, but are not limited to, my daughter, the study of T'ai Chi Chuan, mainly the form of Master Cheng man Ching, contact juggling, a bit of closeup magic here and there (my significant other is very amazing..the Amazing Bosco), Pirates, the Romany Culture, healing in various aspects, such as herbal teas, or energy healing, Quigong Massage, and I have a huge interest in what I call Animal Personalities, the inner animal self. Some call it totems, Animism..whatever..same thing, I think.. but that is why I am drawn to this subculture called Furries, and I myself am a raccoon wolf, with tanuki in there somewhere too. Well, I think that's about all I can think of to say about myself...

I'm back! Wow!

So I finally figured out what my username was...heh. Forgot it was tanukimama...I kept typing tanukipurple, my email, wondering what was wrong. LOL. Yeah, I had to search as Guest some of my friend's pages, and look and see if my avatar was still up on it, and I clicked, and yay! I found my long lost page! How about that. *waves to yall*
Anyway, a lot has happened in the last year.
I did enroll in Blue Cliff College for Massage Therapy, and I just graduated in April last month. Also, just got hired (I start today!) at Massage Envy (I'm still in New Orleans!) and my daughter is now 4 and turning 5 in November..starts Pre-K too!
As for art, I've done lil bits of things here and there, nothing to post yet on this site, though I've got a few scraps and one finished work up now on my deviantart page.
Life goes on...
Anyway, a lot has happened in the last year.
