Hey all.

So, this is something I never honestly thought I'd do - mainly because I hate redoing things and I've never felt quite this strongly about something I've written before - but I'm removing Harbingers of Change Ch7 pending a thorough rewrite.

As noted on the warning on the chapter initially, the events of the chapter came across significantly more intense and dark than I'd originally pictured when writing the piece, and to be honest... it wasn't fun to write, I don't feel it was fun to read, and while there is definitely a place for fiction that makes the reader uncomfortable, that is absolutely not the intent of this setting or this story.

The return of the lucha drone forms was supposed to be lighthearted and exciting at best, the entertaining panic of an unintentional TF at worst; bringing the rating up for some sexy shenanigans should have only made it more fun; but the ending of the chapter took a dark and unpleasant turn that really doesn't belong in this setting, and kind of sucked the enjoyment out of everything else.

There were a few other moments in the chapter that I felt undermined some of the themes that had been established previously also, less drastically, but still... for all that this is going to result in probably rethinking the direction of the fic in some ways, I think I need to take a step back and consider how I want to progress from here.

The comments and questions on the chapter have been saved and will still be answered in future chapters, though no promises exactly when those will occur. Most likely, I'm going to start bringing in some side stories in the same universe from here.

I don't like permanently removing content from the internet, so if anyone still wants to read the original chapter as written, send me a note and I'll forward you the chapter... but please note that it is considered non-canon at this point.
