Well, thankfully after some recent life changes, the worst effects of my decades long depression have lessened quite a lot. I still struggle with an inability to stay focused on a single task like drawing for long periods of time before my attention starts wandering or becoming divided, but anything is better than the constant negative thoughts that were almost completely stopping me from working on anything whatsoever. I am finally starting to get the hang of drawing after many years of trying, although I still have tons more that I need to learn.

I'm not a hugely upbeat person very often due to my particular combination of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Persistent Depressive Disorder, PTSD, and potentially Bipolar Disorder given my genetic history, along with various social issues that I could go on about for far too long. All of which is to say that if I ever come across as deadpan or stern during conversation, please know that it's almost certainly just because of what I have been molded into throughout my life thus far.

At the end of the day, I just want to be able to easily draw out the ideas in my head as they appear.
