Behold, the story who wrote herself real
She, who wanders on a path to heal
Once the majestic ruler of her own domain
Now brought to heel, forced to arraign
For crimes committed in times long past
Many of which would leave you aghast
She was trapped in a form not her own
So that humility might be shown
Though many times, from grace she fell
In time she learned this lesson well
The path was wrought with loss and pain
Forced to fight for every little gain
She found solace in those like her
Bound without scale, feather, or fur
With them she found a new flock
Now side by side they walk
And, though the distance may be great
She found love with one worth the wait
An Empress whose crown has shattered
Now blessed in the ways that mattered
A dragoness stripped of her wings
Takes flight in search of new things
Ready to face whatever strife
That may come her way in this life
