I illustrate, beekeep, garden, weld, woodwork, and can create laser\plasmacut designs. I also sing and dance, play music and shoot photos, though I won’t claim that I’m the best at any of these things. I love all of the arts and am always happy to discuss them with anyone. I’m trying to gain traction here, because I’d like to make regular use of fa again!
Why? Like many of you, I yearn for the halcyon days of personal control over my aesthetic, not just in what I post, but in the maintenance (or lack thereof) of a gallery, the fact that the art I see is art from artists I watch, and so forth.
I’m likely going to buy some adspace, here, but in the meantime I’d like to hear from those whose work has caught their eye. What would you like to see that would make you engage? What have you seen from other artists that seem to build community? Do you feel like cross-platform posting is necessary to build an audience in the era of the modern interwebz?
