Important Announcement Regarding Paypal and Future Adoptable Sales
Since Thailand's situation is unusual PayPal's new policies in Thailand have been changed again, with the effect that Thailand freelancers are no longer able to use PayPal. PayPal policy was formed as a result of an agreement between the junta government and PayPal.
Freelancers in Thailand can no longer use PayPal to receive payments.
1. Due to PayPal's new policy, we need to register businesses (juristic persons) Registering a business in Thailand as a juristic person is more expensive than an ordinary freelancer can afford. Hiring an accountant is required, which is expensive. It's not something that should be done by freelancers.
2. PayPal betrays the user. The first new policy is allowing to register a commercial registration individual, but after we already did, they suddenly changed their policy. They only says, "It will no longer be necessary to establish your identification. We regret for any misunderstanding this has caused” and Paypal pushes the burden to users irresponsibly even deadline is 7 March 2022
3. It's not just about receiving payments. Even monthly subscribe payments such as Netflix, Spotify, Thai people will no longer be able to use it. including sending money to PayPal via email, mass payout system. Even you register a juristic person you can't do those things.
4. All of this is caused by laws enforced by the junta government of Thailand that they don't want Thai people to work with overseas clients. They don't care how artists or other freelance live their lives.
5. from trying to inquire to Paypal. PayPal has made it clear that this is because of the junta's coercion. That clearly gives us confidence that Thai junta gov creating this crazy deal for trade protectionism and wanting to extort taxes and help a monopoly on big capitalists who support dictatorship. which they had always tried to do. They ran out of money to buy weapons. They don't care who's in trouble.
I understand that most customers prefer to pay with PayPal, however,Thai artists and freelancers in Thailand are unable to use it. PayPal's new policy has a significant impact on our future career chances. We're in serious trouble.

We planned 3 options
- It is a website for artists especially art commissions and adoptable sales. There is a unique auction system.
- Overseas clients can use credit and debit cards for payment.
- I'm going to be doing a tutorial on this site soon but basically, You can buy Gems (similar to points in Deviantart) and use them as cash on the website. 1 Gems ≈ $0.034
- The site is new, so it might not be very stable, but I've tried the auction system It's really work nice for me. But if you are not comfortable paying through this website and want to pay through other way such as Buy me a coffee or swrift code you can do as well.

- Overseas clients can use credit and debit cards for payment.
- They have a Payout system that sends money direct to Thai bank
- BMC : buymeacoffee.com/thechark28
- Overseas clients can pay via Paypal, Artist will be charged 15%
- Kominart was formed after PayPal's first new policy. But at this time, it has not yet started to open for service.
- They want to create a corporation that would function as an agent between overseas clients and Thai artists, similar to Skeb (Art commission site for jp artists)
- This is a very good option for customers who still want to pay through PayPal. But due to the high fees for artists, I would like to inform you that if you wish to pay this way there may be an additional charge. (≈ 6%)
- Kominart will be opening website soon!
- If any customer is convenient to go to the bank to transfer money directly. This would be another option that could be possible as well.

- Ko-fi only accepts payout via PayPal and Stripe and these two services are not available in Thailand.
- Fanbox only accepts payout via PayPal
- Fanbox has announced that they are looking for a way to help Thai artists. So it might change in the future.

- Patreon only accepts payout via PayPal and Payoneer
- Payoneer is required to have a PayPal account if clients don’t have Payoneer account and sometimes weird issues.

- For someone using a direct debit card, Someone says it's no problem but I still need more time to learn about this site. It might be good in the future but I'm not ready yet. And there is a high risk that the Thai junta government will do in the same way as PayPal.
- At the same time, I think that Arbum and Buy me a coffee might be better if clients can already use credit cards and debit cards. There is no need to pay Payoneer and the fee is less.
- same problem with Payoneer
- Arty only accepts payout via Wise so there’s the same problem.
