So, I've been gone awhile. More than awhile actually, a little over a decade it seems.

Well, I've been through the ringer to put it mildly.

My girlfriend at the time ripped my heart out and stomped on it, which led to a pretty serious bout of depression and then members of my family began to die, then a very close friend died, then COVID happened. My roommate, who was also a close friend decided to stop taking his blood pressure medication and not tell anybody which then led to a heart attack which caused a stroke when then led to a cascade of system failures until he died.

It's been rough.

Through most of it all I just ducked my head and put my time into work and tried not to think about it. I still drew things on occasion, but the passion had kind of bled out of me. Then I lost my job and am kind of about to lose my place, but we'll see.

I have recently tried to get back into drawing, and I have been working on a script for a comic I would really like to draw. But, lack of funds mean I may not have much time to work on it. I plan on opening for sketch commissions soon in the hopes that I'll be able to make rent.
