I've been a lot of things. Artist, playwright, time traveler. Well, maybe not that last one. But what I've settled on being, as far as I can tell, is an alley cat with a flair for the dramatic and a refined taste in music. Why? Why not. It suits me; I'm a musician and I tend to sleep on things. Over time the concept solidified into a character, as is often the case, and from there it became a story, and then a world. The result is Jazz Cat, the orange tabby who lives on Rat Street and spends his nights playing in smoky jazz clubs, and the city built around him. I might get some of the stories written down eventually (check my scraps too if you're browsing my gallery); so far I have a bad case of too many characters, not enough plot. I might get some music up here too some time, if I get some decent recordings. Until then—and afterwords too, should it happen—feel free to talk to me about music, stories, cats, breakfast cereals, and so on.
