Happy new year! I'll start the year off with an update. I didn't make nearly as much last year as I wanted to, not that I wasn't working on anything. I've had to really try and get my finances in order & work a full time job, it got to be exhausting & there were plenty of nights I just preferred to come home & play video games. I'll admit that I was floundering quite a bit last year also & just generally lacking focus outside of my job.

That being said, the thing I was mainly working on last year was writing KING. I know you might be thinking, "Didn't you start that like 5 years ago & you're still not done?" Yes, my priorities haven't exactly been in order creatively until last year, where I decided to really start working on it, but I think the length of time has helped to improve the story.
I've changed a lot in the last few years & I've tried to put what I've learned back into writing KING. Frankly, it wasn't ready a few years ago & it wouldn't have been very good. If it will be when it's done is still yet to be seen, of course, but I'm studying as much as I can to make it better. KING has changed quite a bit, but a lot that I started with is still there & the core themes & messages I want are still there.
I'm honestly not sure if it'll even be a comic at this point either, there's a chance I have to release it just as a novel with the length it'll likely be when it's done, at least at first.

I'm still going to make an attempt to make more art this year. I have a plethora of oc's I want to draw, I started a banner project with a bunch of them that I want to finish. Just keep in mind, KING is going to be the priority to at least be written in full. I'm going to try & improve my at-home schedule though, even if it's just getting an hour in of drawing a day or something similar.
