Hi there. Welcome to this little corner of the Internet. Please, call me TS2.
I'm awriter and veteran roleplayer Former such user, who started out on dA a few years ago, but created an account here in light of certain site changes which weren't appreciated over the past two years. I now go between the two accounts, and tend to be busy as a result. If I send you a note, it's because I would like to speak with you for whatever reason. Don't mind the odd username, alright?
I'm open for some roleplays, but not every single kind. I won't specify what I prefer, but please check with me before attempting to start one, that way I can see if whatever idea you have in mind is feasible. I am no longer open for roleplays unless I wish to start one personally. You can run ideas by me, but don't expect them to be carried out right then and there.
Other than that, you won't find much on this account. Maybe the occasional journal or reposting of work from DA.
PLEASE READ: If I send you a shout, please respond in a note. This is to ensure that I don't have as much message clutter.
notafurry: I do not consider myself to be "one of the fandom," as one might say. Rather, I am merely a user of this site, and nothing more beyond that.
Anyway, now that the obligatory whatnot is out of the way, feel free to stop by.
Regards,
—TS2

An impasse.
Greetings, to those of you whom watch this profile. I am here to address a simple and highly prevalent matter, that being my inactivity here.
For context, I did not come to this site of my own volition. I made the decision to create an account following the UI changes DeviantArt staff had made to the site, and subsequent hearing that some whom I devWATCHed at the time would be considering moving to or focusing their time more on this site, where they had existing accounts. I was not fully aware of what this site held other than of the fandom's known tendencies, and created this account anyway if it meant continuing to keep up with the aforementioned move-considering users.
In the years that followed my time here would be taken up by cheap, ill-thought out text-based roleplaying due to my then notable immaturity and inexperience in writing. While it helped build up my ability to handle prompts and refine my craft to an extent, I could never quite let go of the ones I handled improperly. To an extent, I still hold some regret towards not doing them justice, nor seeing them through to a reasonable, in-story conclusion.
I would lurk during and after these prompts, browsing around lazily and not doing much beyond introducing myself to the odd character through a comment on a work or what have you. That has been my only activity here from then to now, save for the occasional note to discuss things with others that fell flat.
With all of this typed, I have a decision to make for the future of this account. I could return to lurking and not do much, or I could pursue one of two options.
—The first of these is to get my affairs in order here before gradually moving away from the site and onto another platform. The current ones I have in mind are either DeviantArt—which some have abandoned in favor of this site—or the ever-popular Discord service, which is more likely to be populated with active user accounts. This would involve a selective process of giving out my account name to others who are interested in linking up there, before leaving this account largely stagnant as it was before.
—The second and more alternative option is to breathe new life into this account in some form or another. In the wake of text-based roleplaying I have never done any writing for myself, or pursued projects beyond new prompts and prompt discussions. With this option, I would just...write. Write whatever project come to mind until I cannot anymore, or be open to taking requests for a prompt once my own or I am exhausted. One idea I've tossed around in particular would be titled A Subjective Analysis of the Psychology behind Fetishes and Other Acts of Degeneracy, a series of essays in which I would seek to explain the reason why certain online fetishes exist, what their origins are, and why curiously naive people become interested and trapped in them. Not the first subject matter I would choose to cover, but one that may shed some light on the subject in a way sources such as ED choose not to.
Alternatively, I could just return to highly limited text-based roleplaying, and continue refining my writing ability through that. Maybe resolve an old prompt or two through a revival or reboot, if I decide committing more of my time to that micromanagement hell is worth it. Otherwise, there is doing a bit more than just lurking about.
Until further notice, I send my regards.
