passed away at the Western Medical Center Santa Ana in Tustin, California, USA, at 01:20pm, Pacific time due to complications related to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart damage and related illnesses.

he was best known for the hyper-endowment depicted in most of his drawings, his art also characterized his good humor and attention to detail. Doug was also known for his quick wit and love of word play.

the sad think is theres no much people remember his great artwork , some few times i was fortunate to talk to him in messenger and he was a very kind person, and he send me some not used artwork he scraped (unfortunately my old computer take away part of them but i save few of them) one of that artwork was a satanic equine with a scarp draw of a pentagram in the floor and i like it a lot and i name it damnya wicked with the same initials like doug winger
