Reflections on a quote from Theodore Roosevelt (G)
A great Theodore Roosevelt quote, and some other thoughts on life, for your consideration. Feel free to post your thoughts.
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat" - Theodore Roosevelt
Remember, experience gives us perspective, and a proper basis in first-hand experience must be drawn upon to make proper decisions in life. Without experience and perspective, you don't have much to reflect upon when making a decision. More perspective = better decisions. Without perspective, you may not even be able to recognize an incorrect choice, even after it's made. Most don't even care (please do, though). Consider that which is unseen, as it can affect us just as much.
The basis of all anger is confusion. It all begins with the question "why..." and if you can eliminate this question as much as possible, you will be happier and more focused in life. Don't be one of those people who are willfully stubborn and ignorant. I've had people tell me they are fine with being stupid. Technically, they're not, it's just they don't know it. Willing yourself into being ignorant and rude and arrogant, simply because it's fun, is to doom yourself to a life of confusion and frustration.
I don't want to be someone stuck, upset at the buttons on his tv remote because he can't find the right one (again), just waiting for the end, repeating the same routine for weeks and months and years... I hope you would agree that this is a future that we all would want to avoid, but sometimes it will just happen without you knowing it. (Just like growing up! @_@)
I live for myself, and for everyone, too. Think globally, act locally. Seek to know the truth, as it will set you free! I love that Furries exist. I love that Babyfurs exist. I love that we were able to wake up enough to the fact that diapers make us happy. I love all of you, and the entire universe, and I hope that you find what gives you purpose in life, but don't go too deeply down the rabbit hole! =P
Keep your balance,
