You know those scammers that dm you for art commisions?
Yeah, apparently when i asked around for artists in another serv, one of them approached me a day later, so i thought they were a legit artist because of the messages i sent in that other serv (and they ofc sent that stolen twitter art page)
So i decided to commision them, not knowing what those scammers even were, or that they even exist
tldr, i coughed up 50 bucks (USD), and waited about 1 month , even had to pau about 15 bucks more to help cover the artist's rent
but surprisingly, they actually GAVE me the art and didnt run away with the money
which is how i got the first art of my OC
(do note, the derg on my pfp was made by another not so scummy artist)
Only figured that they were a scammer after another scam artist approached me, posting the EXACT same twitter profile link as them, and that Person got kicked for being a scammer which made me realise "oh shit"
Realised that that artist was a legit scammer after they refused to post the art they did on twitter

Which is why I have deleted the two artworks that I have hence realised are scams, and are keepin em to myself.

TLDR: This is like movie theatres selling you a pack of M&Ms for $10.
