creative talent
Hehe. Im pretty sure i would enjoy that alot. I definitly still need to practice. But more than willing to try Did you always think that you were creative or is it something that you discovered later in life?
I always felt there was something about me that was a little off. I mean that in the sense of I had a knack for something but never actually had the opportunity to fully use it until my first audition, then after my first show I found and knew what my creativity could be turned into. I didn’t discover this until I was 13 years old/
How did you discover it?
I discovered my love for acting when I was 13 and acted on a stage for the first time. All of the hours of rehearsal and going over lines and being able to tell a large group of people a story, just made my soul yearn for more. I continued up until this very day, and I acting and pretty much any aspect of theater is my passion
How do you express this in your life?
I express this in my life by never leaving a moment go dull and try to use those moments to try to improvise something into a scene or watch a movie and see I would have performed the role differently. Also I take time and talk to professionals and others with experience to get a better idea of to get better. It's a continuous process of expressing and over exaggerating a feeling or motion, but I I try to keep it with in reason.
How would you recommend/think that someone could discover their creative talent and cultivate it?
Its not always easy to discover a creative talent, and being creative has too many meaning to pin point it to one specific act or way of doing something. I mean I feel glowstringing is an art cause not everyone can do, just like acting. Some of the most talented people in the world discovered there talent in few ways. Either there parents pushed them and overloaded there lives with it, a friend had them try something and they found out how good they were, or it was completely by accident, chance, or fate.
Best advice I can give, is take a chance, and if you suck at it but love doing it, keep doing it till your better. Also just play with yourself toy with your mind your body just try to express what you feel inside and find your medium that comes natural to express it through.
Describe the most creative things you've done in past past jobs/ personal life.
Most creative things I have done is has been designing lights for shows at my college, having to take what is happening in the show, plus what the director wants to see and throwing in your own ideas. The creativity is endless and has usually resulted in a beautiful creation for the shows. Also I take great pride in creating characters for myself and developing them as much as I can. To create a whole other person in your mind and be able to make your voice and body take it all on, but in the end shake it off and become yourself again takes a lot of creativity.
