Hi there, I’m Tired Trout, a relaxed, slightly sleepy fish fan from the Ozarks who decided one autumn morning (9/18/2025 to be exact!) that I had to draw a fishy. I picked up a mouse, opened Krita, and dove right in. This page is my cozy spot to share the results.

I adore all things aquatic, especially trout, and love turning them into soft, stylized little characters. Think gentle colors, splashy spots, and friendly faces. While fishies are my favorite muse, I’m always curious about trying new critters and scenes that drift into my net.

When I’m not drawing, I’m usually actually out fishing, or at home making music and daydreaming about new patterns for scales and fins. I’m also a bit tistic about fishing (in the best way), so don’t be surprised if my art and rambles are full of creek chatter, lure names, or fun fish facts.

This page is meant to feel like sitting by a cool stream with someone sketching in a notebook, casual, colorful, and a little bit soothing. Over time I’ll post finished pieces, WIPs, and maybe some behind-the-scenes of my learning process.
