     One cold night, as the forest was blanketed by the glow of the moon, I wandered through the mists. Curiosity had taken it's toll and even though I was told not to go in there, I ventured forth. "Stay away" "Come no Further": signs littered the path ahead, scribbled in brews very own handwriting. You see, she is my sister. She comes here when I am not paying attention and dumps her waste from her concoctions. I am never allowed to dabble with her supplies and am often kicked out before she begins her secret brews. Well, not anymore! I ignored the warnings and pressed on.

 

     I stepped paw into a clearing and in the middle I could see where the grass had split, leaving nothing but bare ground. I leapt out, expecting to catch my sister in the act of whatever she does out here, but alas, nothing. Snarl, yip, squeak. My torso lashed as I pranced around under the light of the moon until it happened...



     My back leg plunged into a vat of sludge and sank. One after another, as my paws landed, I fell. I could feel every muscle straining as I fought against the goop. Within moments my entire body was encased by mud. I closed my eyes, my heart racing. Was this the end? I opened them to see an ominous green glow coming towards me from under the muck. I held my breath as I sank, surrounded by toxic waste when it happened. I could feel myself being re-energized. Instead of killing me, Brews mixture made me stronger! Purple and green markings littered my once black pelt as I shot skyward! Out of the pit I flew before landing pads down with a large THUD.  My impact blew the blades of grass around me aside as a shockwave rippled out along the ground. 



     I ran, legs working double time as the light emanated off of my new toxic markings bounced off my surroundings and drown everything in a green glow. I had been reborn a Hallofox, just like my sister. Now to try out my new powers...
