This idea is growing on me. {Admittedly, I usually just have to think on something for that to happen.} A beautiful vision of feathers in a rainbow of colors is coming to me. The former because I think they are classy, the latter for a wider palette...
+There is only one year in a year, but 12 months in it. Soooo, as there will be 12 Icons for the TAsoFA Group, why not up to 12 Mascots? If there is anything I know, creativity abounds. Mascots shouldn't have to duke it out. Jello wrestling, perhaps...

A Journal Entry dedicated to a Traditional Artist is considered their property and may only be used in any way(s) they approve of or otherwise see fit. Promos inclusive...
If you have a TAosFA Journal Entry dedicated to you, you may Note me what you would like added/changed/done with it in general. I will comply or I will die trying...
*this is, of course, not mandatory until the TAsoFA Group actually has an Icon! I have retained  zannah and the 1st of them should be in use by late Dec.

FUND RAISING: I would love to start a fund to aid Traditional Artists in emergency need. Or simply for giving Art Supplies as Birthday gifts.
My thought on How to raise said funds is by auctioning off the originals of various pieces gifted to TAsoFA by its watched TAs who are willing.
TAs would be able to decide what % of the winning bid they would retain for themselves, the portion remaining to be left for the TAs E-Fund.
Emergency Funds from the TAsoFA Treasury would only be paid out to recognized and well-established artists, to minimize the risk of a Scam.
Less well-known TAs on the TAsoFA Watchlist would instead have a Journal Entry dedicated to their Emergency and their own private Fund.
A Patreon Group may be set up to handle auction-based transactions and to hold the TAsoFA Treasury Fund, for reasons of transparency.

RESOURCES: Mr. Gibbs(aka Happydeath) has suggested that 'instruc-torials' of certain sorts be made available to the TA Members.
He specifically made mention of the 'harm' done to an otherwise gorgeous piece of traditional artwork, by a 'bad' scan or poor 'touching up'.
To Quote Him in part: 'What I mean by editing is just making sure that the original artwork and the digitized version are both roughly the same in terms of colour and intensity and also maybe editing out smudges or eraser streaks etc. I've seen a lot of great artworks which are sometimes hindered by being too flat, 'grey' or messy which just comes down to the scan or photo editing...most people have worked out a good work flow but its a problem unique to traditional art...'
Now, since such Resources are perhaps more in the line of the Submissions to  TraditionalArt I may hit up  ruaidri for them.
Not that I am in any rush to bother him for anything... +lol Oh! And incidentally: Here is a Tutorial on Scanning(by TanidaReal)!
