I just recently sat down and watched a two-part documentary called, "I Love You, You Hate Me" (On Peacock) which is about one of my favorite early childhood shows, Barney & Friends and how it eventually lead to some people to create the toxic culture of "Barney Bashing". It even went into details about how the show was created and how extremely popular it got as well as other things. I'm grateful that I watched Barney as a little kid back in the mid-late 90s and my Mom thought it was the best thing ever when Barney got popular! I used to hate Barney as I grew out of it when I got older, but I'm now a bit sad after I saw the documentary for the first time. With everything going on in this world, even in this fandom, I just wish people would know how to love one another even if they used to watch Barney or not.
