So long story short, I lost my job last month, just before Christmas. I tried to prevent it, but my job didn't even allow me to discuss it. They just said goodbye.

Rent is fast approaching as January seems determined to be over in the blink of an eye, and I am waiting to hear back from like dozens of job applications and a few interviews.
