Status of Dragon Dating Simulator

What started as a silly April Fool's joke turned into my first attempt at writing, coding and promoting my own visual novel!
"Dragon Dating Simulator" is a small game that I made to coincide with 2022's Amare Jam on itch. io , where the goal was to attempt to publish a game in 30 days. In those 30 days, I learned so much about what it takes to actually make a game that runs, from sound editing to script writing, coding, finding art, copyright laws, MORE coding, banging my head against my keyboard to figure out why my game kept crashing, and MORE CODING. While it was a lot of work, it was also SO much fun for me~! I wound up writing over 35k words across the entire game just in dialogue XD
All that said, the game came out super short. One month for a fully fleshed-out game was definitely not enough time to deliver a full experience. So, for the future of the game, I plan to expand it ---- A LOT.
My plan is to iron out all of the bugs that are in the current version and re-publish it as a demo, so that people can have a taste of the writing, characters and play style. I don't want to get too ambitious, but I would like to expand the length of the three love interest's routes a great deal, as well as add more events containing all of the characters. I would also like to add a little more personality to the player character and make their choices tell more of a story as to who they are, so that players can really tailor their MC to themselves.
I also intend to keep the game free-to-play. I believe in my own hard work, but I also want my game to be accessible to people who are otherwise usually barred from dating sims.
Lastly, I plan to continue to work with my current sprite artist, Luckyfields [ https://luckyfields.newgrounds.com/ ] as he's been fantastic to work with and was super patient and helpful in bringing my characters to life. Otherwise, I will be doing all other work myself. That being said, I'm just a working joe-shmoe and I don't get a whole lot of days off, so work on this game has being moving pretty slowly. Not completely stopped, but not too terribly fast either.
I'm incredibly thankful for those of you who've stuck with me anyways and helped point out bugs and code errors I missed; you guys make all of this worth it. ^_^
