SO its been one week since I *officially* classifying myself as a furry and things are looking ok. I say officially given that I had always loved the art and styles, but never really thought much beyond that. But I have opened to the community at large and I have to say its not bad. I mean grated I've mostly been creeping. Scratch that, that's almost all I've been doing. Going through galleries and pursuing the pages of forums to try and get a feel for the community more. It was rocky at first (I plunged head first into a thread fervently arguing the merits of baby furs, at which point I tipped my hat and did a prompt about face) but I got more into the swing of things and saw that the wit and character of the group was fresh and well formed, if a little crass in its execution.
AND THE ART!
There are some throughly talented people out there, just churning out some fantastic stuff... just cause! I mean it helps that they enjoy obviously... and commission pieces do come across with the most detail and effort. All the same I am definitly finding my nich I think. Or atleast something I can shamfully troll in my off time.
Either way. Glad to be on board and hope to see good things down the line.
