i might as well introduce myself a little bit more... i'm tulip!!! you may remember me from websites such as cohost, mastodon, and bluesky. i also have a personal site that i chip away at sometimes.

my interests include fashion, art history, makeup, retrocomputing, and playing around with different art mediums. as i've probably mentioned before, uh, i'm pretty new to exploring furry stuff... it feels kind of embarrassing, having spent so much time around other furries, but taking this long to explore any of it for myself. i guess i waited until the time felt right to me. but it's been a lot of fun. i'm really enjoying having a different outlet to explore parts of myself, and i wanted to have a space where i could do that more comfortably.

i am pretty shy though...! well. shy as in, i am notoriously very shy about browsing other people's art and commenting. i've always been really nervous around other artists, like i'm scared of not living up to other people's standards for art... it doesn't help that i have pretty firm boundaries about kink/sexual content in general, so i've been extremely isolated for most of my online artist life as an adult lol. but, turns out being isolated is really lonely. i'm trying to break out of my shell a little bit and feel less nervous around other artists, and maybe open up about stuff i haven't felt comfortable exploring before. i dunno!! we'll see!! it's really scary for me but i am trying.
