Just call me Umbra! I'm just your average evil meteor from out of the sky purple snake-hybrid. I am currently in community college, working on transferring out. Right now, I have no major, although I am thinking of becoming a biologist... But in the meantime I've been trying to branch out into different things and see what I like. Animation, Field Biology, Special Effects Makeup, and Language appeal to me most. As for languages, I only know English, a bit of Spanish, and a little Japanese, but I hope to learn more.

I love nature, even though I live in a somewhat urban area. I enjoy taking walks on nature trails, and seeing all the plants and animals. My favorite places I've visited are wetlands, tidepools, and the forest, although I also enjoy the desert! My favorite animals to see are birds, there's just so much variety and energy in them!

I occasionally play videogames and am a big fan of Metal Gear Solid, although I haven't played Peace Walker or Ground Zeroes yet (so no spoilers, please).
I also like playing The Sims 3, Street Fighter, Guitar Hero, Pokemon, and Megaman.

Drawing is the main thing I do, art-wise. I pretty much just draw with a pencil on plain paper, and then scan it to color digitally. I recently bought a new tablet, so I'm working on the digital aspect of my art. But for now, pencil and paper is where I feel the most "in control. ^^;

My first love is drawing, but lately I've taken up sculpting and sewing as well. I hope to add plushies and sculptures to my gallery someday!
I'm also currently working on making myself an organized craft space- so excited! I'd love to have a nice place to work on all my things. I really need learn to take better photos of my stuff, once I get started making things again... >>;

Another thing I want to get into someday is fursuiting and fursuit making. I love costumes and cosplay, so it looks like a fun thing to be able to do! Unfortunately I don't have the space to store that sort of thing without anyone finding out... As I'm not sure my family would take kindly to that sort of thing. They think I'm weird enough as it is. :b

Spring semester's starting soon, hopefully I can still work on my art while school is going on. If not, apologies for a lack of updates.
