I'm an East Coast US, Oxford comma-using fur who's left other quarters/chambers of his heart in Kansai Japan, the British Isles, and the Midwestern US.
Jag pråta bara lite (bara lite!) Svenska ; 日本の標準語・関西弁も話せますが...最近は練習が弱くなってしもうた!

... already! I've been going since its first iteration in 2013, but 2023's is likely to end up being my last one, depending on how things go IRL.
I did indeed have a good time at my little (1,620 attendance) local con. There were some rainclouds here and there... both literally and figuratively, since I missed the faces of some friends I normally see at these. I might get to see them for cherry blossom viewing, though, so there is that! More importantly, those rainclouds didn't dominate, and I got to enjoy a couple of panels. The ones I went to largely touched on history... also philosophy and theology at times, much to my personal pleasant surprise.
Was also able to pick up some targeted presents while I was in the Dealers' Den*, and also got a few things for myself from

* AnthroCon terminology; at FTM I think it's just "the Marketplace".
Fur The 'More's game room was top-notch, as it always is, and once more I did get to indulge in some Atari and NES retrogaming with a small transient audience; got to meet some new faces that way, too. Had some metaphorical headaches to deal with during the week leading up, but this weekend was totally worth it all around
