I am a scientist. A person of knowledge, of discovery. I take delight in comprehension. I have never seen, felt, or experienced anything that could not be explained in a perfectly rational, logical way. I am not a skeptic. I am open to any and all theories, as I believe that anything is possible under the proper conditions. I believe that the average human's mind is closed; unaware of the true nature of things. I find this ignorance inexcusable. I tend to hold others to the same standards that I hold myself- standards that, oftentimes, others are not capable of meeting.

Over the past few weeks I've been listening to this song more and more, relishing and trembling in the pleasure/pain that results from love and heartbreak.
My BF broke up with me recently, though the still loves me and I still love him. He thinks it would be better for me of we weren't together, and because I know that he will not change his mind, I refuse to hurt him more by trying to convince him otherwise, no matter how I feel.
I hope that we will meet again, and that we still love each other then. I will always love him.
