Hi! I exist!
I don't really have much to say. I like TF stories and art, as one can guess. So yeah, that's me!

Have to mention this + some other stuff

So if anyone reading this read Where it Leads Me, you probably remember I made a Metaphor Refantazio reference about how high its price is normally. Literally THE DAY after I started writing the story it went on sale for like, 45 bucks on steam. Am I psychic?????
First of all, new PFP! I got a little tired of the default furaffinity one xD
I don't think many people on this site will recognize what it is, but those who know, know. It's Super Robot Wars related, if you need a hint. Hopefully it doesn't make me look too edgy or tryhard! I try hard to not seem that way!
Second of all, some extra notes on Where it Leads Me. I admittedly ended it sort of abruptly before I was able to 100% answer some things, though I don't think I really needed to. I like worldbuilding but I think I gave enough hints in the story as to why that "shrine" (or more accurately the statue) turned Ryn into a Kitsune. ...also I have not played elden ring I completely forgot that the name of the setting of that game is the lands between, world between was a coincidence. Extra elaborations for questions I was too lazy to answer in that story here, mostly just stuff about Kimizu:
- Kimizu mentioned being half yokai, but which one exactly?
They're half Tenome. In irl Japanese folklore, Tenome are blind men with hands on their eyes. It's said they're the ghosts of the blind who were unlucky enough to get mugged and murdered. They wander graveyards at night in search of victims to eat. If that sounds a bit familiar, they were the inspiration for the Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth, a movie I only know exists because people are terrified of that thing.
Kimizu's hand-eyes are closed a majority of the time to the point most people don't even realize they have them unless they demonstrate. If Kimizu opens them, they can see normally invisible beings such as poltergeists. That said, keeping them open for a long time gets disorienting, so Kimizu only uses them when the situation calls for it- which isn't especially often. I wasn't able to allude to this in the story, but Kimizu is half-blind as a result of their ancestry, so they struggle with depth perception. They've lived for a long time, so they've adjusted to it, but it still trips them up every now and again.
...also if Kimizu showed Ryn the hand eyes while taking care of her, Ryn probably would've been even more traumatized then she already was.
- What was that "Shrine" Ryn ran into actually?
A sort of grave site.
I don't think I'll upload on here suuuper often, since life is busy and I usually spend most of my free time playing video games. Otherwise I've been doing college, buuut it's summer break when I'm writing this so I have a lot of time to kill. Plus how much I'm interested in writing TF fluctuates a lot. Some days it's on my mind to the point it's a little disruptive, and some days I don't even think of it at all. I think that's just kind of how hyperfixations go sometimes.
So... yeah!
