Hey guys, sorry I have been gone so long.

I know I don't really post much here. In fact I don't really do a whole lot. But that's changing.

I have recently joined the Texas Furry Fiesta staff and got to help out this year. I have lost touch with the things I really enjoyed about the fandom, the good parts, the community. I fell into a hole of dislike for it actually. All I was seeing is gross acts and gross art and I hated it. It made me sick to just check my fa page at all. I didn't know what to do, because I am a furry, all through and through, and I have been a lazy person too. Before TFF started though, I made a decision. That decision was to stand up, dust the gunk out of my eyes and do something with meaning. So I started OPAT. What is OPAT you are properly wondering right now. It is One Paw At a Time. A group to help the disabled, the diseased, and the broken. I made it my personal goal to be as helpful as possible at TFF. Not long after that I was contacted by another group known as Furry C.A.K.E. They wanted to bring out the best in our community and help us shine again. So we joined forces and our groups became one. Then I joined TFF staff. I figured this was the best way I could help others out and I was right. It made me feel amazing! I felt honestly proud of myself.

Now that TFF is passed, I'm focusing on OPAT. I want to build it up into something amazing.  onepawatatime-OPAT is my work of art, and it is one that I don't believe will ever be finished. I want the tapestry of its history to go on forever. To do that though, we need more volunteers, more members who can sacrifice of themselves so that others can feel like they deserve to have a chance. We need people willing to go out of their way to make this world a better place. We don't need professionals, we need the kind, the smart, the strong. We need those who have suffered and defeated their demons, whether they were physical, or mental. We need selfless protectors who will give of themselves and ask nothing of those they help. Spread this everywhere, because even if you don't think you can help, eventually you may need help. OPAT will be there for you.
