Have you ever wanted to get an art scholarship? How about one that was totally cool with you drawing adult work (of pretty much any kind)?

One of my closest friends, Zachary, also known here as  DarkZel, passed away last year. He was an artist and worked frequently in the sci-fi, fantasy, furry, and hentai fandoms. He was an artist for Postmortem Studios, and used his earnings to attend school and see to his living arrangements. In his memory Postmortem Studios are hosting a small scholarship. This will be it’s first year and the amount awarded is designed to compound upon previous years. All you need to enter is an illustration of your choice. Now, it won’t take fan art, but all it requires is one illustration of almost anything you want. It just has to be genre based: Sci-fi, Fantasy, Superhero, Pulp. Etc. Current Deadline is Febuary 7th, 2014. This may be pushed back,again, as It hasn’t gotten much response thus far. So I thought I would try pimping it out on tumblr! The current award is 300$, enough at least to cover the cost of applications.

So if you like art/sci-fi/fantasy/(even some crazy porn) and you want to get some money (and later help some people get some money) — you should go do this!
