I figured it makes more sense to move my little intro from my profile to a journal post.

So hello there! Sometimes I pretend I know how to art. Mostly I just push a few buttons, poke at some paper, or play with string and hope for the best. I was introduced to the furry fandom somewhere around 2003 or so, and I dabbled a bit until other interests took priority. I didn't make very many close friendships in the community, and the few I did I mostly lost touch with over the years. Meanwhile most of my other friends thought it was all weird af, so I'm sure there was some peer pressure involved in my setting aside funny animal pictures as well. I've half-heartedly joked about being a "closet furry but not really" for years, but let's be real...I always was one. So I guess I'm delving back into the world of furry art. I don't really see myself as a Serious Artist™ but I think I've decided not to let that get in the way of posting here and there anyway.

After YEARS of never being able to settle on a 'sona, I finally came up with Zephyr. I'm not done fleshing her out fully, but having seen so many others go through various design changes with their characters over the years, I feel a lot more confident in my choice to just pick something already and see where it leads.
