Every time I get out... (G)
Hey everyone (or at least any of you who actually follow me),
I am active again after a very very very VERY long break from the furry world. My distance from it all was mostly due to the lack of local community. Moving every few years makes it hard to maintain friendships. Further, living the last 5 years overseas has put a big language barrier between me and any potential furries I may have met. So I focused on other hobbies and interests.
Enter my cousin. A distant cousin of mine that I had not seen or even talked to since I was like...9(?) added me on Facebook recently. I didn't think much of it until he posted about going to Anthrocon. I immediately messaged him and we connected as fellow furries. It is extremely liberating to know that I'm not the only "black sheep" in the family. Seriously, the rest of my family is cis/hetero/Christian/Conservative. I thought I was the only one who stepped way outside the box (trans/poly/lesbian/atheist/liberal/furry).
So it is nice to have reconnected with Zeek and not feel as alone in my family.
Anyway, I am back in a frantic way. I have updated this site with stories that I wrote a while back. I have a few more, but due to the content, I think I'll keep them under wraps. Nonetheless, I am open for commissions. I don't imagine I'll get much of a call for short stories, so I'll remain open.
I hope to connect with more of you and reengage a community that has broadened my experiences and been so inviting.
Love, Tia

A bit of a generic compliment, but just to display your kindness didn't go unnoticed!
