Three years. Three long years have passed since I've typed anything on this account. The last thing I wrote was about my last night at Governor's School. What a long time away and so much has changed.
Currently, I am roughly four months away from being legal to drink alcohol. It will be interesting to see how it is. I've never been interested in actually drinking any, so I'll see what I think on that day. Many friends have said that they want to buy me a drink, but I just don't know if I will like anything at all. People younger than me have had more alcohol than I have. That is so weird and hard to understand how that happens. Information on the first drink will be given-maybe-sometime during the month of my birthday.
The next big thing is that I am in college. A music education major with a concentration in strings. I don't intend on teaching elementary or secondary, because I will be moving onto a Masters in Musicology/Music History. Going into my fifth semester of college, I will be a second semester Junior. By the spring of 2011, I will be a senior. I am lucky enough to be paid to go to college, and I also work in the music office for a little extra. It's tough, but it is so much better than high school.
In May of 2010, my mate and I went our separate ways. We were together for almost four years. It was much harder than I expected to let go, despite me instigating the break up. Initially, it as an amicable break up, but it went sour. Thankfully, we were able to recover and work through everything. I wish him the best of luck in life.
Life changes. Changes quickly, and changes slowly. It's all a matter of handling life as it comes. I hope this fills people in on some of the things that have been going on. Sincerely, Roo
