I mostly lurk these days. Thank you in advance for the nice comments and faves, it really does mean a lot to me, especially since these days I don't draw as much furry art compared to when I first started participating in the community.

I've been thinking a lot about the years I spent being a part of the online furry community (I've never had the money or the time to attend cons unfortunately). I do at times lament the connections I've made and then lost; and every now and then I look back on the growth I've had, in general but as an artist too. I went from some noob 19 year-old who didn't know how to do digital art to... well, this.

I've had the pleasure of taking commissions and working with some wonderful people, and I've also somehow found myself stumbling into some of the most unexpected circles for someone who'd rather stay uninvolved in the cliques of the furry world (seriously, why do I always know A Guy Who Knows A Guy?). I also somehow seemed to amass quite the following in people interested in gay furry art, lol- which is very funny, given I never truly intend to cater to any specific audience. I just draw what I like, and people seem to want me to draw sexy naked men a lot. Not that I'm complaining, I love drawing naked people. My only regret is not drawing more women since I love girls so much.

I've come a long way since I came into the scene under the alias "milftanks" (kudos to you if you recognize that handle), and a lot of it is thanks to every single stranger behind the screen who's ever crossed paths with me, kindly or unkindly. I wouldn't be who I am right now if it wasn't for every single person I've come across, and I mean it. Total strangers, acquaintances, friends, enemies, "situationships" (can't really call some people lovers, they were more interested in toying with my heart, I think)... you name it. I'm not really bitter like I used to be about any of that by the way; I only wish some of those people well. Life's hard enough as is these days.

Here's to a healthier and sane 2026 full of whatever life decides to throw at us. Nothing really phases me anymore now that I'm approaching my 30s.
