Dogs can be truly amazing sometimes!
A 17 pound beagle saved her human's life by biting 911! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13439261/
As the partner of a diabetic, this really touched me. I know how crucial those moments are before the diabetic slips into a coma. This dog is really heroic. And I love how digified she looks in the pictures...kind of a Horatio Hornblower-esque, 19th-century-British-navy-kind of cool.
I have the feeling this dog could handle anything, and still be ready for a wee spot of tuna sandwich.
