Hi there!

I'm a bernese mountain dog named Driftwood formerly known as Driftwood Raccoon... formerly known as  BigKoda... and the wolf-skunk formerly known as  pookie! [I still am happy to go by those names, but I prefer my new, shiny name of 'Driftwood'.]

I am currently working on putting more energy into creative endeavors, from drawing to crafting, to constructing fursuit components. I'm always happy to chat and offer what I can to new people - especially those new to the fandom. Most of the work I do is on a pro bono, because it's not my intention to making a living or even a tremendous amount of money off of the creative things I genuinely enjoy doing. I also really don't see my work as high enough quality to really warrant payment.

In my life outside of the series of tubes we're all on, I work as structural engineer for a small division of a large, global company. I really enjoy the realm of the work I do, but I'm quite underwhelmed with my current company/work load. I'm happy partnered to the lovely  kyanos and have been lucky to call him mine since August of 2004. I consider myself a very affectionate, understanding, and open person - I find great joy in making people feel accepted and comfortable and take great strides to make that a reality for both of us. Within the silliness of the fandom, I like when friends lounge and lean on me as I prefer being a big source of comfort. :)
