This is the question that I think many people asked themselves as they saw me at this past MFM. Partly due to the fact that so many people asked me, "So... what are you supposed to be?" I was supposed to be an ice dragon but I get the impression that it looked nothing like that though...

I'd heard people think that I was a goat, a horse, a lion, a unicorn (yeah, I don't know either), though my favorite makes me feel like the biggest racist just even mentioning it. There's not really any beating around the bush about it, there was a family reunion of all black people who saw me and shouted "Hey! Hey white devil! Come and get a picture with us". And so I did and had to explain, as I had so many other times, that I was a dragon.

I've learned an invaluable lesson though. I really do not know how to make a fursuit head. I thought I had an Idea and that it would work but it instead just made me blind and started to pinch out my hair while stabbing me in the head. I had a hood on under the mask too, but the metal frame, with foam and cloth and fur hand stitched to it, did not care. it tore the hood to shreds and then went after my face next.

But yes, I was also entirely blind for the most part, though i was mostly only blind when light shined directly at the white mesh that was there for me to see thru; So almost constantly. Luckily I had a sword-handled umbrella that I could use as a cane to help me find things in front of me. Even so I probably ran into every person and door I came close to at least once during the con. I apologize to everyone that I bumped into during all my blind-ness.

I fear that my team in the fur suit games may have lost, also due to me being blind; i skedadled after the game where we had to hold a ball in tongs while running between cones. Team Pepto Bismol was better off without me.

I might not have worn this particular head in con but i really spent way too much time on it and ran out of time for much else really. I did attend a fursuit making seminar thing that they had and I do intend to start over an make a new suit by MFM next year though and hopefully it will be better overall.

So in summary, wearing the white dragon suit was the biggest pain that I've inflicted upon myself while at a fur con. It was like i was constantly being stabbed in the head while blindfolded, and having people snap pictures as they bleateted baaaa at me. Or better yet, thought that I was anything except for an Ice Dragon.
