Life has a way of complicating things and that has never been more true than with me. 2 years ago, I was in hospital fighting for my life. I managed to have a stroke but not a stroke according to the doctors. I recovered from that and managed to walk again with a walker. Then less than a month later, I had collapsed in my home, at my desk and had to go back to the hospital. I wasn't so lucky then. In hospital, I suffered a massive heart attack, got defibrillized 4 times and my heart stopped. Someone was fast to start CPR and I woke up in ICU. What the stroke event did not do, the heart attack did. I lost use of my right arm, I can't walk, and I will spend my remaining days bed bound or in an electric wheelchair.

I can "type" single handed on a tablet, I can speak succinctly with the occasional pause to remember a word. I can dictate with the voice to word program my husband set up for me, I can still draw. Not as much as I had in the past, but I can still do that. I'm still not into color, Tropi will have to colorize things but that's for another journal. Given my situation, it's time for me to sell off art have done over the years and try to pay off my medical debts given how much has already come out of my pockets on this. My insurance only went so far and the specialized equipment costs a pretty penny.

I suppose that doesn't mean a thing to most of you. I shouldn't be expecting that it does. I'm just a gray muzzle who's time is coming to a close and that is what happens in nature.

I'll be posting less and less here and on dA. I have to square things away before I can't do much anymore. A few pieces will make it here and I hope you all like them.
