Hi, I'm Yurika and I'm a husky.
About Me
I've been a furry for a while and I really enjoy the fandom, but I haven't spent a lot of time collecting art or going to conventions and I've been slowly correcting that this year. I do a lot of really things and have lots of crazy adventures. I'm a nice person who isn't very cliqueish so feel free to message me anytime.
As far as species go, I really prefer canines over any other species, especially dogs and wolves. I like all animals, but I find a much stronger connection to canines than any other species and appreciate the company of other canine lovers.
Currently mated to the most awesome person in the world.
My Fursona
I realistically feel as if my fursona is an extension of who I generally am, a bubbly funny ditsy kind of person who always has something neat or interesting to say, but often times is totally clueless to what's going on. Like think of a husky coming up to you and going "huh what" and then chasing its tail, that's pretty much me! I've spent a lot of time developing the personality traits of my character, a process which I feel is similar to supplanting fake character traits with my more realistic ones, while iterating on it until it reaches a point that I find that my fursona is not only pleasant, but completely realistically and believable.
I really want that sort of attitude to translate into artwork and other forms of media to help express my character. If you ever want to borrow it for arts or whatever, feel free to ask, but I am a bit picky on what my character would involve itself with and the scenarios it would be related to.

Additional details:
FWA '14 was a great and fantastic con. I have con crud right now and the only thing that I would change is honestly not taking pictures of zalluth because he totally doesn't deserve more pictures of himself in his suit currently. At the current rate of ego inflation he will soon have his ego out-valuing bitcoins within any second now.
The homecoming dance was amazing and I wish I could have stayed for more of it. It was nice to see so many people dressed up for it.
Lastly, the new hat I got is pretty nifty.
