Call me Zea... I live in a shit seaside country on the western coast of Europe.
I've been around this 'furry fandom' business for over six years now, what started out as a fascination for anthropomorphic characters, funny animals and werewolves quickly expanded and took more firmer foundations. Mainly thanks (or no thanks) to the internet I was able to find people with similair interests... I also found that this would exceed the normal, innocent images of this interest which I had then. It exceeded it greatly indeed. Almost shockingly. Around the third/fourth year I took a hiatus from it all due to personal issues and improvement in art, focused on fantasy, horror and sci-fi art (which has always fascinated me) and as things were slowing down a bit, I decided to return to the thing I once loved so much. I've been on and off with it, debating with myself and others about my actual position in this whole ordeal; if I would actually continue anthropomorphic art or anything of the like, and believe me, if I were to be ignorant to the community, I too, would criticize the vast majority of 'wrong-sided' people in it, despite my very open nature and sense of reason and understanding. If I could give people an excuse, then it would be that I find this style to be different and something fresh for people to explore, it's simply a matter of art and expression to me, whereas others completely obsess over it and start to live in their own bubble, filled with ideas that they're actually a fox or a wolf, hey, granted, we all do what we want, but I like to keep my feet on the ground. Many things have shook me around and questioned my stay. For one, I do not like the stigma (be it well deserved or not) it carries, the face people get when it is known that they indulge in such practices, the superficiality that people hold about this matter, and as one that has thoroughly read, heard, seen and studied this, you will not see me argue or defend anything of the like anymore, like so many people try to already, it has no point.
Who are we, or you, to change the way people think about this fandom? And be honest; don't some of them owe it to themselves? This has been going around for twenty years or more.
Either way, slander aside, there isn't much of amazing interest to tell about myself, though I agree that every person has at least one bit of fascinating information, I tend to believe that I am one of the less fortunates in terms of having a stupendous life. I enjoy writing, as you might've noticed, I enjoy reading even more so. The arts of literature, drawing and music have always been in my mind, ever since I was a little child I would draw with the utmost fanatical drive. And I'm blessed to know that I haven't lost them yet.
It takes me to mention that I have always wanted to publish novels, not too long ago I started to shed special attention on this matter, and what has been in the works for almost two years now is starting to take solid shape, a graphic novel I have to add, but a well examined and detailed story nonetheless.
For those of you who are actually interested in the things I draw: I tend to avoid hardcore and explicit displays of pornography, I focus much more on the beauty of physique of any shape and kind, and to portray them in an artistic or exciting manner. My original characters have a detailed background and even a great setting to put them into, however, this always clashes with the more simpler and bland exuses of 'life' that other people tend to put into their own characters. Nude and pin-up pictures aren't the only things I draw, I love to design, but I haven't taken a career or major study in it (I do intend to but problems too vast to explain here are currently holding me back). You'll often see me sprout ideas for clothing, armor, vehicle, architectural and item designs, I love to create. I believe that a good artist with this sense of creation and passion to explore, appeal and improve is a god of their own world of paper and canvas, digital or traditional. Shape anything you want while it remains to be intriguing and credible.
A few minor things about myself, I love animals and always had the fantasy to work in a reserve or park for wolves as they are my greatest wildlife fascination. My hair is ten inches away from my butt crack. I have an insane appetite for sushi of any kind, I love to drink from time to time, I am a smoker but I intend to quit. Videogames is another passion of mine. Television amuses me (when there's good stuff on). I love comics more than I love manga, because they are always more original and more vibrant and alive. History, psychology, mythology and basically everything known to mankind fascinates me. I love to learn the things that I want to know about, never was one for forced things. I am currently a single walker in life. I play the guitar but I'm not a pro. And my final destination is Canada, because I simply adore that country.
As some very wise person, once said during a very wise moment in his life, age does not matter. Enter Zea as he says: unless they're adolescents.

014 - Update, Commissions & Trades
The more I wait... the more I yearn.
Some facts just have to be swallowed down, whether you like 'em or not, it's part of this complexity called "life".
UPDATE
I suppose I was gone for quite a bit, I was feeling too apathetic to do anything, I regret it though, lost some contact with people here, heh, and it was my goal to meet and befriend you folks, I screw up a lot. I'll be checking FA every few times a week, for as far as this computer can take me. I'll be posting a series of old works from 2006, if you've got a problem with this, confront me with it.
COMMISSIONS & TRADES
Commissions and trades are still open, the five commission slots are refreshed, and trade slots will be pinned down for all to see the moment they're started. For trades I'd have to request an equal or somewhat equal trade of quality and complexity, kind of like getting something worth your time/effort. You can note me if you're interested, for now I can only do inked pictures and cleaned sketches, until I get my new computer put together, I'll be able to get back in color with Photoshop, OC4 and Painter. Check out my Commission Information tab for further information and such fun stuff.
Zea out.
