So, I recently attended Califur '16. It was awesome and definitely rekindled my love of the fandom. I realize that I've been growing up in a sheltered environment, which there was nothing wrong with that. I was happy. I just thought, 'well this is it. This is who I am'. I didn't really express myself nor did I fully embrace the furry side of life. It would be a lie if I said that being a furry hasn't been a major part of me; growing up and aspirations.
