While I have been doing better with my health recently than I have in a long long while... I'm actually at the same weight I was in boot camp, didn't think I would ever be back there but somehow I've managed to loose the belly. Work has been picking up stupid fast for the winter. We usually have short shifts and one or two days a week where we flat out don't work. This year however I'm still working five overtime shifts a week like we usually only do in the summer. What little time I have been getting I've been pouring into my 3D printer and painting miniatures. A hobby I've done for years but with my new higher quality printer and a much better desk setup for working on painting I have found myself doing it a lot more. I have painted more miniatures in the past month than I painted all of last year.

My art hasn't stopped but it has become the back burner hobby. That said, I will be suspending my free request slots until I get more time to put into art. I do want to make sure I'm still practicing and pushing my comfort level though so I will be thinking of something to put in their place that makes me draw. Possibly taking a handful of commissions or doing some raffles for prize art... something like that. I will be keeping note of the free request slots that are currently out and will contact those people again if or when I open them back up to make sure they are first in line.

TL:DR Doing good but the real world and a few other creative hobbies are consuming all my art time.
