This is a one of a kind drum/ wallhanging.The painting is loosely based on the classic 'Green Man' motif. The Sun, four main Moon phases and tree symbolism of Holly, Ash, Oak, and Hawthorn circle the Green Stag. The rim is adorned with cut out deer skin leaves in various natural tones and natural skin edging. It has a strong cord for hanging.

Painted in acrylic on a 20 inch buffalo skin single hoop drum and sealed with an acrylic varnish. The drum is made by Taos drums, Taos, NM. The design, painting and deer skin adornments are created by Sandra SanTara.

This drum is a fully usable piece for ceremonial or the recreational musical experience. It includes a soft beater and has a moderate tone to the sound.
