I've had colored pencils for years but other than a couple of times of being really annoyed at playing with them I've mostly just left them alone but this weekend I decided to play with them a bit. A couple of bad decisions followed: I drew a civet, which I'd never drawn before, and I didn't sketch it with a pencil that I could, you know, erase. Still other than the ears turning out funkily it turned out okay. also should have picked an animal that was at least a little less monochromatic

I'll try again sometime soon, maybe.
