I wonder...could it be possible that Birthday Cake Mouse lured ghostfox91 (and who knows how many others before him) into the quicksand with an enticing birthday cake, just a few feet away?
Without thinking, a cake-addled victim would step forward, unaware the purple cake frosting quicksand was now swallowing him up, whereupon Birthday Cake Mouse would reward the lucky individual with some of that yummy birthday cake! (And it wasn't even his birthday!)
