Mongolian Tiger (as seen in Harvard Museum) - Ink on scratchboard (and touched up in photoshop for my website)
This has been bugging me for the longest time. This was labeled as a "Mongolian Tiger" in the museum but I can't find any information on it. It was a very old taxidermy figure so it's possible the name is just outdated. Does anyone know what type of tiger this would be referred to as now?
FYI taxidermy animals are fantastic for getting small details but are terrible in the way they can make your subject look "lifeless" for obvious reasons.
