A series of portraits I created in Adobe Photoshop. It features a character from a science-fiction novel I'm working on.
It's been a while since I've done any drawing, and I'm still getting used to doing it with my tablet. I suppose you could call this a "test run". I'm more or less pleased with how it came out, but I'd like to do better. Hopefully that will come with practice.
That said, I'd like give a special thanks to Noben for the short instructional video she put up on YouTube. The cranial structure of her "kuvrahks" is similar to what I envisioned for one of my own fictional races. I had always trouble getting their heads to look right (particularly the muzzle), and when I asked her for assistance, Noben was kind enough to put together a video tutorial.
